Sprint Technique

Coaching to improve your sprinting biomechanics

Overview

The average sprint distance in professional soccer is only ~6m, with ~96% of all sprints being less than 30m. It takes an athlete ~40-50m to reach their maximal sprint speed. These facts should highlight why it is so important to be able to rapidly accelerate in modern football.

Sprinting is a highly technical motor skill that requires dedicated practice to develop efficient and effective movement patterns (in conjunction with a well-designed resistance training program). Our coaching focuses on refining these vital biomechanics, ensuring that players can accelerate rapidly and efficiently.
